ADVANCED MUSICAL THEATRE CONSERVATORY PROGRAM

With comprehensive training for high school and advanced upper elementary and middle school musical theater performers, this training experience provides students with training in advanced acting techniques, audition training, vocal technique and styles, musicianship training, dance technique and styles, choreography, varied role study, ensemble technique, technical theater, and unique performance opportunities. 

INSTRUCTORS: Stephanie Valentino-Logsdon, Erin Tuttle, Jack McIntyre, Dr MJ Nelson, Dr Michael Preacely, and special guest instructors from Broadway, iTheatrics, and more!

Conservatory training requires committed individuals who train from Fall 2024—Spring 2025. 

After your successful admittance into the advanced program, selecting this course of training secures your registration in the following programs: 

• Flight, The Edge, The Climb, OR The Break Out Advanced Musical Theatre Programs
• Participation in Advanced Cast Productions in the Fall 2024 and Spring 2025.
• Opportunity to participate in the Junior Theatre Festival in Atlanta, Georgia in January 2025, AND/OR NYTE in Louisville, Kentucky in March 2025
• Opportunity to be a performer in the Disney Showcase in Orlando, Florida in June 2025.
• Access to Private Vocal Instruction with an advanced level voice teacher at InnOVATION Arts Academy.
• Access to Community Outreach, Special Performances, and High School Internship Programs.
• Students must additionally take a minimum of 1 hr of dance per week.  By grouping their training, advanced students save significantly on class registration fees.

Class Schedule:

TRIPLE THREAT:  2 PM - 5 PM on Saturdays in FALL 2024; and 4 PM - 7 PM on Saturdays in SPRING 2025

TECHNICAL DANCE on Sundays and/or Tuesdays

Conservatory Registrations DO NOT include festival and trip rehearsal fees.  Register for festivals and trips separately.  (You must be registered for JTF, NYTE, and DISNEY to be considered for casting.)

Triple Threat with 1 HR Dance = $1566 OR $174/month for 9 months

Triple Threat with 1.5 HR Dance = $1683 OR $187/month for 9 months

Triple Threat with 2 HR Dance = $1800 OR $200/month for 9 months

Triple Threat with 2.5 HRS Dance = $1917 OR $213/month for 9 months

Triple Threat with 3 HRS Dance = $2034 OR $226/month for 9 months

Triple Threat with 3.5 HRS Dance = $2142 OR $238/month for 9 months

Auditions for Elf Jr. and Mamma Mia! take place on September 3rd-6th. View audition information on the website. Contact the office to receive a link to the studio calendar, which includes rehearsal times and performance details.

*Students will be required to audition for production roles.  In the spring, elementary students will be considered for Junie B Jones Jr only.  In the spring, Middle School students may audition for Junie B Jones only or Mamma Mia only, or to be considered for both Junie B Jones Jr and Mamma Mia, with show placement at the discretion of the directors.  Middle schoolers who target Mamma Mia only risk not being in a spring production, as not all middle schoolers who audition for Mamma Mia will be cast in that production.
