ORANGE MONARCH CONSERVATORY

INTERMEDIATE MUSICAL THEATRE CONSERVATORY PROGRAM

With comprehensive training for high school and advanced middle school musical theater performers, this package of classes provides students with training in advanced acting techniques, audition training, vocal technique and styles, musicianship training, dance technique and styles, choreography, varied role study, ensemble technique, technical theater, and unique performance opportunities. 

Conservatory training requires committed individuals who train from Fall 2024—Spring 2025. 

After your successful admittance into the Monarch Conservatory program, your registration secures your child’s training in the following programs: 

- Monarch Conservatory triple threat class.

- A minimum of 1 hr of technical dance training per week, and up to 3 hrs of dance a week.

- Participation in Studio Season Production - Choose Fall or Spring Production Only

-Access to Private Vocal Instruction with an InnOVATION Arts Academy associate voice teacher.

• By grouping their training, advanced students save significantly on class registration fees.

Class Schedule: 

MONARCH 1 (3rd-5th)   11:20AM - 1:20 PM on Saturdays 

MONARCH 2 (6th-9th)   12:00PM-2:00PM on Saturdays

DANCE CLASS OPTIONS:  MT Technique (Ms Dot) Sundays 3:30-4:30pm; Tap (Ms Dot) Sundays 1:30-2:30pm; Ballet/Jazz (Ms Colleen) Tuesdays 6:45-7:45pm

Auditions for all our season productions take place on September 3rd-6th.  View audition information on the website.  Contact the office to receive a link to the studio calendar, which includes rehearsal times and performance details.

*Students will be required to audition for production roles.  In the spring, elementary students will be considered for Junie B Jones Jr only.  In the spring, Middle School students may audition for Junie B Jones only or Mamma Mia only, or to be considered for both Junie B Jones Jr and Mamma Mia, with show placement at the discretion of the directors.  Middle schoolers who target Mamma Mia only risk not being in a spring production, as not all middle schoolers who audition for Mamma Mia will be cast in that production.
