ADVANCED MUSICAL THEATRE CONSERVATORY PROGRAM

With comprehensive training for high school and advanced upper elementary and middle school musical theater performers, this training experience provides students with training in advanced acting techniques, audition training, vocal technique and styles, musicianship training, dance technique and styles, choreography, varied role study, ensemble technique, technical theater, and unique performance opportunities. 

INSTRUCTORS: Charlize O'Dell, Jack McIntyre, Dr. Mary Joy Nelson, Dorothy Smith, Dr. Michael Preacely, and Chrissy Ashford.

Conservatory training requires committed individuals who train from Fall 2026—Spring 2027.

Fall 2026 Production- The Best Christmas Pageant Ever

Spring 2027 Production- Beetlejuice JR

After your successful admittance into the advanced program, selecting this course of training secures your registration in the following programs: 

• Flight, The Edge, The Climb, OR The Break Out Advanced Musical Theatre Programs
• Participation in Advanced Cast Productions in the Fall 2026 and Spring 2027.
• Opportunity to participate in the Junior Theatre Festival in Atlanta, Georgia in January 2027, AND/OR NYTE in Louisville, Kentucky in March 2027
• Access to Private Vocal Instruction with an advanced level voice teacher at InnOVATION Arts Academy.
• Access to Community Outreach, Special Performances, and High School Internship Programs.
• Students must additionally take a minimum of 1 hr of dance per week.  By grouping their training, advanced students save significantly on class registration fees.

Class Schedule:

TRIPLE THREAT: Sundays, 2:30-5:30pm

TECHNICAL DANCE on Saturdays, Sundays, Tuesdays and/or Thursdays.

Conservatory Registrations DO NOT include festival and trip rehearsal fees.  Register for festivals and trips separately.  (You must be registered for JTF and/or NYTE to be considered for casting.)

3 HR Dance = $2032 OR $255.78/month for 9 months

3.5 HR Dance = $2131.38 OR $236.82/month for 9 months

4 HR Dance = $2226.02 OR OR $247.36/month for 9 months

4.5 HR Dance = $2318.43 OR $257.61/month for 9 months

5 HR Dance = $2408.58 OR $267.62/month for 9 months

5.5 HR Dance = $2496.50 OR $277.39/month for 9 months
