Rising 6th Grade - Completed 12th Grade

July 25-29 and August 1-7

NO CAMP on July 30-31

Program runs daily from 9:00AM - 4:30PM

PERFORMANCES - August 6 (2pm and 7pm) and August 7 (2pm and 6pm)

This will be a 2 week long camp (no camp July 30-31) with live performances on Saturday, August 6th and Sunday, August 7th.

13 Jr Pilot Production

InnOVATION Arts Academy is proud to present a PILOT production of 13 JR for iTheatrics and Music Theatre International.

Evan Goldman is plucked from his fast-paced, preteen New York City life and plopped into a sleepy Indiana town following his parents divorce. Surrounded by an array of simpleminded middle school students, he needs to establish his place in the popularity pecking order. Can he situate himself on a comfortable link of the food chain... or will he dangle at the end with the outcasts?!?

Composed of a precocious cast, no character in 13 JR is older than the show's title, making it wonderful for theatre companies that feature young artists. In the Broadway production, even the band was made up of teens, which is a fantastic way to involve a diverse group of artists. The cast is comprised entirely of teenagers, but the stories that come to life here are ageless, the emotions they explore timeless, the laughter and the memories they provide priceless.

TECH TRACK

Tech Track students will receive training from local Lexington professionals in several technical areas, such as set and prop design and build, lighting, sound, costuming, and more.  Tech track students attend the program every day from 9am-4:30pm and participate in a variety of classes, provide rehearsal support, and design and make lots of cool stuff.  Currently, students trained in tech at InnOVATION receive stipends during the studio year for their tech work on productions.  Each year a student trains in tech track, they receive an incrementally upgraded status for up to four years.
