Half Days 9:30am-12:30pm - Preschool & Kindergarten (age 3-6)

Full Days 9:00am-4:30pm - Elementary (ascending 1st-6th grade)

PRODUCTION DESCRIPTION

Dive into the big blue world of Disney and Pixar’s Finding Nemo JR!  Marlin, an anxious and over-protective clownfish, lives in the Great Barrier Reef with his kid Nemo, who longs to explore the world beyond their anemone home.  But when Nemo is captured and taken to Sydney, Marlin faces his fears and sets off on an epic adventure across the ocean.  With the help of lovable characters such as optimistic Dory, laid-back sea turtle Crush, and the supportive Tank Gang, Marlin and Nemo both overcome challenges on their journey to find each other and themselves.  Finding Nemo JR brings a vibrant underwater world to life on stage in a story full of family, friendship, and adventure.

CAMP DESCRIPTION

Each day, campers will hone their triple threat skills by singing, acting and dancing at camp.  They will build their  acting skills through scene work and expressive physical storytelling.  They will become more confident singers through group and/or individual singing, learning musical terms and healthy vocal technique.  They will learn choreography to match their songs and gain confidence in expressing themselves through movement.  Campers will also enjoy crafts and games, and some craft projects will be featured in their performance.  Casting will take place on the first day of camp. This camp will culminate in up to three 20-minute performances on Saturday, July 20th.  Performances will fall between 10am and 7pm.

FULL PRODUCTION OPPORTUNITY

All students participating in Finding Nemo, Jr. Elementary/Preschool Camp have the opportunity to perform in the full production of Finding Nemo Jr. at the Singletary Center for the Arts on Saturday, August 3rd and Sunday, August 4th.  Students opting to perform in the full production will come in for production review on July 31st, 3-4:30pm, have tech/dress rehearsal on August 3rd at 12pm, and perform on August 3rd at 2pm and August 4th at 2pm.

For Rising 1st Graders - Rising 6th Graders

Tuition: $275 camp only; $325 if participating in mainstage production

Schedule: Monday-Friday: 9:00am-4:30pm

HALF DAY CAMP

For Age 3 - 6

Tuition: $150 camp only; $200 if participating in mainstage production

Schedule: Monday-Friday: 9:30am-12:30pm
